Empowering Barbadians to Live Healthier Lives
The Diabetes and Hypertension Association of Barbados (DHAB)
provides education, support, and advocacy for those living with non-communicable diseases
About DHAB
Founded in April 1975, the Diabetes and Hypertension Association of Barbados has been at the forefront of health education and advocacy for nearly five decades. What began as the Diabetes Association of Barbados was rebranded to address the growing epidemic of hypertension and other non-communicable diseases.
As a local charitable health-based non-governmental organization, we are committed to becoming the premier health advocacy organization in Barbados, providing support, education, advocacy, and screening to all Barbadians.
